So the problem become getting people to use VLC as Apple is never going to fix it’s messed up Gamma settings. How does DaVinci Resolve work The installation and setup process is simple and works out of the box: First, you need to download the DaVinci Resolve installation file we provide you and start the installation process. This can be done with Mozilla Firefox or VLC. The solution is to use a non-colorsync application to play the video back and it will look correct (or at least more as it was intended). If your computer is struggling with processing all that data, change your speed to somewhere between 5-10 frames. Lastly, click on Add to Render Queue and then click on Render All in the Render Queue tab. ![]() Then, select Custom Export, give a File Name, and set the export location. You should see a setting called render speed.
